The Terrace Gets a Zero!

Usually that kind of headline would mean bad news; however, in this case it is the best possible news an assisted living facility could receive. The Terrace at Beth Sholom Village underwent a two day licensing survey earlier this month which resulted in zero deficiencies. This was the first violation free survey The Terrace has had since its opening in 2004. In addition, they received a two year operating license which is granted when a facility exceeds the expectations of the government imposed regulations. The survey process involved the reviewing of medical records, observing a medication pass, observing an activity program, observing a meal service, interviewing residents and/or their families individually and in group settings, looking at Health Department reports and other facets applicable to the running of an assisted living facility. “I am so proud of our entire staff”, said Administrator, Pam Guthrie. “We are confident that we can maintain this high standard and it is wonderful to be recognized for our hard work. Kudos to the entire staff!”
