I'd like to help, but will my small donation really make a difference?
The Village welcomes all gifts, regardless of size. Gifts not designated for any specific fund are put into the General Fund. Income only from the General Fund is used for the benefit of the Village as determined by the Board of Directors.

Why do some of the Village funds list a specific purpose?
Often donors request their contribution be used for a special use, e.g., the Mollie B. Tankenoff Music Fund provides musical entertainment for residents at The Home. Funds for continuing staff education and religious activities are also examples of some of the designated funds.

How do I make a contribution to an existing fund in someone's honor?
Gifts in honor of someone, a special occasion or to remember a loved one can be made to either the Tree of Life or by a Tribute Card.

• bring your donation to the Berger-Goldrich Home and ask for either the Development Associate or Chief Development Officer

• if you are using a credit card, call the Development Associate Office at (757) 420-2512, ext. 206

• mail a check to the Development Department, 6401 Auburn Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.
A Donation Card, along with a *personal message will be *mailed to the recipient. All donations/gifts of $50.00 or more will be acknowledged to the donor in a letter suitable for tax purposes. *Please be sure to enclose all information needed.
