The Sands at Beth Sholom Village

Beth Sholom Sands is federally subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a section 202/8 (for the elderly and those with qualifying disabilities).

Elderly is defined as age 62 and older. The non elderly, over the age of 18, are accepted for residency only if they have a qualifying disability.

Residents pay 30% of their adjusted annual income. HUD pays the remainder of the monthly fair market rate. At the time of opening in 1982, all facilities opened after 1981 were classified as "very low-income," with an immediate drop in income limits.

To inquire about rates, please contact the Sands Administrator at 757-420-0891.
