Activities Programming
The Sands full-time Activities Director plans many social and educational events for residents. There are regularly scheduled events and also specialty outings in the area. In addition, residents enjoy shopping trips, concerts, sightseeing tours and other community activities. A handicap acccessible van is available for scheduled trips.
The Sands has a Resident Council, which is a group of the Sands residents who do fund raising, plan events for Sands residents and many other functions.
Jewish Family Services provides a Resident Services Coordinator who is available to the Sands residents.
