The Berger-Goldrich Home Admissions

The Home at Beth Sholom Village is a skilled nursing facility and will admit persons as appropriate space becomes available. The physical plant does not accommodate ventilator dependent or active TB persons.

Persons requesting admission must complete The Home's application and provide medical information. Upon receipt of the required information, the applicant will be reviewed by the Departments of Social Services and Nursing to assure that the applicant’s needs can be met by the Berger-Goldrich Home at Beth Sholom Village. Medically necessary care will be provided regardless of payer source.

When a bed becomes available, the most appropriate applicant will be offered the space. Mental and physical needs, as well as, the social situation of the applicant will be assessed to determine the most appropriate candidate.

It is the policy of BSHEV to comply with the provisions of Title IV, Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and all requirements imposed pursuant thereto, to the end that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, handicap or age be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination in the provision of any care or services, while maintaining the mission of The Home.
